Support of a Feasability Study, Utah
COLOG conducted Hydrophysical Logging under ambient, stressed and cross-hole conditions to evaluate the horizontal and vertical hydraulic conductivity of a lakebed as well as the extent of vertical hydraulic communication through a quasi-confining layer.
COLOG conducted the testing in 22 wellbores constructed with screened intervals at varying depths to evaluate the heterogeneity of the horizontal and vertical hydraulic conductivity.
The objective of the logging was to support a feasability study investigating the economic viability of mining potash in-situ without the need to excavate the lakebed.
