Hydrophysical Logging with Discrete-Point Groundwater Sampling and Packer Testing to Identify Nitrate Concentrations in a Municipal Production Water Well
A Comparison of Techniques, Rancho Cucamonga, CA
COLOG conducted Hydrophysical logging combined with downhole discrete-point groundwater sampling to characterize the vertical distribution of flow and nitrate concentrations in a municipal water supply well.
Following the hydrophysical testing, packer testing was performed independently to confirm the results identified from the hydrophysical logging program.
The packer testing verified the results of the hydrophysical logging and confirmed the vertical distribution of nitrates as identified from the hydrophysical logging program.
